Gather photos
Gather family photos, as many as you can… from the black and white photos all the way through today’s digital pictures. Together, we will select between 5 to 10 images to be used as talking points during the interview.
The remaining collection of photos will be added to a montage and blended with music to create an emotionally vibrant ending you’ll wish to watch again and again.
Select Questions
Prior to our meeting you will receive a PDF containing a collection of potential questions. These serve as a stepping point. You will likely wish to include questions and topics of your own based on your loved one’s unique life history.
Interview Day
It is important for the interview to be held in a familiar and comfortable setting. Once we gather together, I will conduct some slight staging changes… rearranging chairs and lamps to visually frame the video.
The interview session will be divided into four sections… ‘Early Life’, ‘School Days’, ‘Parenting’, and ‘Living/Learning’. We take a small break between each section to give both you and the interviewee a chance to rest. As well, it will provide your final video better framing for the story telling.
